Man the 80s and 90s were the golden age of anime,
straight up great story telling and really captured the spirit of what ever genre it was trying to show.

Eeyup, those were good days of anime when a lot of heart and soul were put into the films, OVAs, and TV series.
Not saying new anime is bad per say, but it does seem like things are just about cranking them out to get the Bens. .
