まずはロシアへの制裁の件を協議するのが優先事項であり、
ウクライナのEUへの加盟問題に関しては「討議の対象とする予定はない」と述べた。
またアイルランド首相もウクライナが近いうちにEUに即時の加盟を認められる見通しは薄いことを認めた。
