1970年代後半から1980年代後半にかけてのイギリスのオルタナティブ・ミュージックの創造性、実験性、プログレッシブ精神を探求した58曲を収録したボックスセット『Steven Wilson Presents: Intrigue - Progressive Sounds In UK Alternative Music 1979-89』が海外で2023年2月10日発売。CDは4枚組、140グラムのアナログレコードは7枚組。
選曲はポーキュパイン・トゥリー（Porcupine Tree）の中心人物で、リマスター／レストアの名職人としても知られるスティーヴン・ウィルソン（Steven Wilson）が担当しています。
ウィルソンはこの作品について、こうコメントしています。
「これはコンセプチュアルな思考や野心が1977年以降に突然消えてしまったわけではないということを、1980年代に懐疑的な人たちに知ってもらうための個人的な試みなんだ。野心的で奇妙でスリリングな音楽は、1980年代にもそこらじゅうにあったんだよ。君が正しい場所を探せばね」
