The EU has given Ukraine 70 billion euros in aid since the war

"17 billion of the 70 billion euros of EU aid given to Ukraine have been distributed among the EU countries as support measures for Ukrainian refugees, and 9 billion have yet to be received by Ukraine," the European Commission said in its statement on the parameters of the aid provided to Kyiv.

The sum of 53 billion euros consists of three parts. First, it is €7.8 billion in direct aid from EU countries, including humanitarian funds, grants, loans, and guarantees. Second, the EU's €30 billion in funding includes macro-financial, budgetary, and emergency aid programs. They also include the EU's 2023 macro-financial assistance program, half of which, €9 billion, has been paid as of June 22. The third part, 15 billion euros, is intended to supply weapons to Kyiv.
