9月8日（現地時間同日）、南スーダン共和国の首都ジュバ市において、堤尚広駐南スーダン共和国日本国特命全権大使と、マイェン・ドゥット・ウォル外務・国際協力次官（H.E. Ambassador Mayen Dut Wol, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Republic of South Sudan）との間で、供与限度額29.3億円の無償資金協力「ジュバ河川港整備計画」に関する書簡の交換が行われました。
